πŸš‚ New issue Friday + I'm running an experiment

I'm locking in on the zine for a year to see what happens. Also, Issue 10 revealed on Friday.

Heyyyyyyyy,

We have a new issue coming out on Friday! That will be the next time you hear from me. I won’t spoil it, but I can’t wait to get it out. IT’S A FUN ONE. FRIDAY!

If you’re a subscriber, please make sure your address is up to date ASAP. You can do this by logging in to our site and checking your account!

If you want to subscribe to get this new issue and our last one and then two more later this year, you can also do that on our site. $33, $55, or $77 gets you the same four issues all year. Locking in for the year is the best way to support our mission to create the highest-quality and most-niche print media possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you to our 1,321 annual subscribers for allowing us to compensate every artist who contributes and invest into the future πŸ’Œ

We still have copies of our first issue of this year. It features interviews with Sam Grisman (Sam Grisman Project), Maddie Denton (East Nash Grass), Brenna Macmillan (Dear Life), and the Asheville Mountain Boys. Plus some personal writing! You can grab that on our site, or apply for a free issue β€” we give out one free for every ten sold.

We are accepting sponsors for our last two issues of the year. Interested? We accept mostly cash, but sometimes trade. Inquire by responding.

One more thing. I'm running an experiment, or making a bet. Over the next year I'm locking in on Train Songz: fewer day-job clients, more hours for this. Goal is 3,000 subscribers by end of next year. We're at 1,321. Tell a friend about the zine, that’s the most helpful thing you can do.

Thanks for riding with us.
