Hello! Issue #11 is in the hands of the almighty United States Postal Service. Please give it two weeks from today to arrive — if you don’t have it in hand by Friday, October 9, we will call it lost and send you another for free.

This is a great time to make sure your address is up to date at zine.trainsongz.net — we’ve been having some login technical difficulties lately, but those are all cleared up! By logging in, either with a password or with a link sent to your email, you should be able to:

1. Update your address. If the zine is shipping and you didn’t set up USPS mail forwarding and your address is wrong, please let me know!

2. Update your subscription for 2027 if you’d like to change to $33, $55, or $77. Much more to come on the financial front in December or January when we send this year’s State of the Junction. If you’re new around here, we send an off-the-rails transparent report each year about how we turn your hard-earned money into niche print media.

3. Not quite yet but in the the future: referral program. Currently working with Jonsey, our brave Locomotive Engineer, on a referral program where if your friend signs up for the zine, we give you some merchandise credits as a thank you.

One more thing, while I have you… Especially relevant to those of you near Asheville, or traveling there for Billy’s shows this February.

PLEASE SAVE THE DATE! We will be hosting a night of “concert, chilling, and community” on Wednesday, February 3. This is the night before Billy’s run starts on the 4th, so we’ll be doing it at a normal hour.

Details and band announcement to follow, but wanted to give y’all plenty of notice in hopes that you can join us. Asheville was very good to us last year, and we’re stoked to do it again.
