đźš‚ Lend your secrets to the train
Hello there!
We at Songz Corp. consistently strive to deliver you the best content-consumption experience possible, from social feeds to e-mail inboxes to aluminum mailboxes. We also want to include your voice more in our quarterly zine. Both of these things cannot happen unless you participate in our quarterly survey.
This relationship is a two-way street, baby! There’s homework!
Please click this link to do our quarterly survey. It’s due on Monday, but if you’re reading this and if you’re even half as forgetful as me, I recommend doing it now.
We’re asking the usual questions about Billy show attendance this tour & favorite show to listen to
We’re asking new questions about 💞 missed connections, anything funny you overheard at a show, and your favorite non-Billy songs and albums right now so we can make “THE TRAIN SONGZ CHARTS” and all share music discovery with each other.
Lastly, we’re asking a few quick questions about what you liked most about the last zine and what we could improve. Give us hell!
We got 436 responses last zine. If we beat that, the whole class gets a pizza party on Friday. DO THE SURVEY!
Big thanks to Lexi, our Senior Slow Train Surveyor, for taking the lead on this.

While I have you, I’ll let you know that I’m committing to a weekly blog post for zine subscribers. (Welcome back, 2002!) The Instagram account isn’t going anywhere, but I’d rather slow down posting a bit there and focus on the zine and other longer-form writing. If I do it right, this weekly post will be something off social media you look forward to checking every Monday morning!
Part of the reason I’m taking Train Songz content in this direction is that, in the wake of building a niche meme account over the last 18 months, I’m doing battle with a genuine Instagram screen-time addiction. Men used to go to war and ask to be tied down while they sailed past the sirens, and now they throtted their Instagram usage at thirty minutes per day with apps called Jomo…
The blog post is linked above, and it’s currently open to the public for no other reason than I’m still figuring out the “technology” to lock it off to subscribers only. Enjoy it while it’s open!
If you haven’t already, consider supporting our zine-making efforts by subscribing to the zine for the year ahead. Every 2025 issue of Train Songz will show up at your door, and we’ll check in again before next year to confirm you want to continue subscribing in 2026.
Next zine out early April. We’re making it pretty much every night after work.
