🚂 Let's take this offline

See you in Asheville, New York, and Austin

Hello there!

Train Songz has always been all about offline experiences. Once the meme page picked up speed, I started profusely sweating: how can we get this thing offline? Mailboxes. Paper. Ink. Thus, the zine was born.

Events and social gatherings seem like a logical next step in the Train Songz Offline Experimentation Program. With that in mind, I’m excited to announce that our first official ticketed event is on sale now:

Train Songz: An evening with The Asheville Mountain Boys.

  • It’s on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Grey Eagle

  • Train Songz will host the show, and The Asheville Mountain Boys will perform

  • This will be a release party for issue #9, our first release of 2026

  • We’ll also feature dyers, artists, and bootleggers who are Friends of the Train peddling their wares

  • The Instagram post is here, if you’d like to share it with a friend or toss us a double-tap

  • Tickets are $20, but really $26.87 after fees. Such is life. That money goes to the venue and the band. (I think we’ll breakeven if we hit 250 tickets sold, based on the percentage of sales the venue takes and the flat rate we’re paying The Asheville Mountain Boys. Will we do it? TBD. Only one way to find out.)

  • There’s a Facebook Event from the venue, if you’re into that sort of thing!

Infomercial voice: “But wait, there’s more!”

We’ll also be hosting shows in New York and Austin. New York will be on Thursday, November 13, and Austin will be on Friday, December 12.

  • Austin will be a release party for issue #8, our last release of this year

If you’d like to be the first to know about either of these, fill out this form. It’ll take 30 seconds.

Seeya there.
