Hello there!

Two pieces of news for you today:

• 🛍️ Merch is live

  • Pre-orders close November 1

• 📻 Train Songz Presents… is live

📻 Introducing Train Songz Presents…

This is a set of music where the only rule is starting and ending with a train song. My goal is to come out with a new one each zine. Episode 1 is here!

• Listen to an hour of bluegrass here!

The first episode features Buffalo Galaxy of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Someone tagged me in a video of them performing “Reuben’s Train” at Dee’s Lounge in Nashville, and I had to reach out to ask them to do this first episode.

It’ll probably be on podcast platforms soon, but for now just SoundCloud.

By the way, the intro jingle was recorded specifically for us by one of our own, Zach.

What band should go next? Let me know. Respond here…

💵 Merch & Helene Support

I gave $2000 this morning as a start to Helene victims, based on money made from the zine so far. This support would not have been possible without all of you and your generous support towards the zine.

• $1000 went to the Salvage Station Crew Fund

  • Asheville music venue

• $1000 went to the Salamander Fund

  • train_songz community member working here to get supplies to remote towns in WNC

I’d like to give more based merch proceeds, and will continue to do so as I’m able. I will update you in a few weeks, based on how things are selling and how much I need to keep to run the next zine.

Speaking of which, please make sure you tell a friend to grab a zine! Send them the purchase link:

🎟️ Tour Is Back! Zines on lot!

Hope y’all have a great weekend! Tour is back. It’s our first tour with Dad Strength behind it. Should be great.

If anyone is going to Pine Knob, @forestcitypress will have a stack of zines on lot. Grab one. Give one to a stranger.

Probably at all shows this tour…stay tuned, keep your eye on my Instagram the day of shows and I’ll share who is handing them out.
