I emailed you yesterday. I don’t love emailing twice in a row, I try to limit my attentional demands on your electric mailbox. But here I am again, begging and pleading for your eyeballs on this “Small Business Saturday.”

Train Songz certainly is small, and today it is objectively Saturday. I’m still not quite sure if we qualify as a business, both legally and spiritually, but even so, we’re undoubtedly at least 2 for 3, which is a great day at the plate.

I’d like to remind you:

• Back issues are on sale for $10

  • #1 is not sold out, that was a glitch yesterday. I love technology.

• A nifty 2024 zine case and trainsongz 2024 sticker combo is on sale for $20

• Train Songz donated $1k to the IBMA Trust Fund yesterday

• Billy added 5 full shows (“Andy’s Apples”) to his YouTube channel, and you should toss them on this weekend

I find the holiday season, with its onslaught of SALE! SALE! SALE! emails from every corner of the internet, to be a great time to audit everyone and everything spamming my inbox and press “unsubscribe” to those who don’t need to be there.

It’s a Sisyphian task, but we must keep digging a little deeper in the well…
