Hello, dearest zine subscribers!

We’re releasing issue #6 this Friday, and as a subscriber you don’t need to do a dang thing but sit on your hands and wait for it to arrive! You’ll be the first to receive it, and I’ll send a shipping notification when it goes out. I’m very excited for you to get your hands on our latest entry into the Train Songz universe of niche print media.

Before that happens, I need to ask: Did your address change?

As always, thank you for your support. Means the world. Couldn’t do this without you. Switching to a subscription model has been a huge improvement for me, and I appreciate you trusting me with your money up front for the year in return for four issues of Train Songz. I will send a full financial report with the release of issue #6, looking back at what we’ve spent making the first two issues and how much coal we’ve got left to keep us rolling for the final two to round out 2025.

And as a new issue approaches, I want to remind you that we have a referral program! If you tell a friend to subscribe to the zine, send them your unique referral link. To find that link, log in at zine.trainsongz.net and click on the “referrals” tab. (Forgot your password? Can’t help quite yet. Working on it, and should have an update there soon…)

Once you rack up a few referrals, I’ll happily send you money ($25, $50, etc.) to partially or fully reimburse for concert tickets in the bluegrass, folk, old-time, Americana direction.

Friends that subscribe to the zine at any point in 2025 will be sent all issues from 2025. That means they’ll get #5 and #6 immediately, and #7 and #8 as soon as they come out.
