First, I want to make sure you actually meant to. Subscriptions are easy to lose track of, and if this renewal came as a surprise, just reply to this email. I’ll cancel it and give you a full refund, no questions asked. We’re never out to get you.

Second, I want to make sure you’ve received all issues. If it never made it to your mailbox, let me know and I’ll send another copy.

Because of subscribers like you, this past year we were able to add more pages, pay more artists, move to a bulk mailing service that gave me my weekends back, book a sold-out concert in Asheville, go to Telluride Bluegrass Festival on a press pass, and send free zines to people who could not afford them.

None of this could have happened without the ~1,300 people who choose to support us via an annual subscription. Thank you for being part of that small group. The certainty of your support for the year makes a world of difference.

You know by now that the zine is pretty specific. This thing is not meant to become world-famous or reach a million readers. But you may know one or two people who would really enjoy it.
