Hello! This email is only going to zine subscribers. Hope you’re doing well. I’m seeing the first tranche of zines hit mailboxes today, which is great news! Keep your eye on your mailbox, and if you sense something is amiss in a week or so, just give me a shout…

This email is mostly about our Print Media Dealer program, which has been through many informal iterations since the beginning of zine-time. We love handing out zines at shows, and it’s been such a joy to see the overwhelming demand we’ve had from a lot of you to hand them out when you attend a show, as well.

In a perfect world we could service every request, but we don’t always have the time (or the zines) to keep up with shipping!

BILLY SHOWS

Fortunately, as far as Billy Strings shows go, we have permanent allies in Dyer on the Mountain and End1Designs, who are both lovely people and dear Friends of the Train. They bring their wares (dyes, hats, custom jewelry — all of which is high quality and I recommend perusing) to most every Billy Strings lot. They will have zines at most shows, since we’re sending them a big ‘ol box. So if you’re going to a show and want to hand out, you can just drop by and ask for a stack. Tell them The Conductor sent ya, and tell them both I say hello. (Discreet message for any would-be proposers out there: On top of very sick and heady sterling silver rings and pendants — I have a train one and wear it daily — End1Designs also does engagement rings or really any other custom jewelry request you can dream up.)

IBMA

Next, IBMA. Are any of you going? Train Songz will be there! Specifically on Tuesday to Thursday for the conference. (We are an official exhibitor with a table, baby!!! Fake it ‘till you make it!!!)

Unfortunately, I have a commitment that weekend and need to leave Friday, so if any of you will be attending IBMA’s festival portion on Friday and Saturday and want to hand out zines in our absence, we could coordinate a handoff. Get in touch!

SOME OTHER THIRD THING

If you are going to a show or festival, or want to bring zines to your local record shop, you can fill out this form and we will send them to you if we’re able to!

Thank you all and I hope you enjoy the latest issue sooner than later! Reply with any questions, comments, or chili recipes.
