Hello there, my friends.
From today until next Friday, I am doing a garage sale of miscounted inventory. Odds and ends — mostly dyed! You can access the shop here.
Please pay close attention to the sizes. This is not a pre-sale; these are extras. I don’t have all sizes of everything, and there’s mostly only a few of each item. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
“Brother, where’s the new stuff?” The issue #6 merchandise will release next Friday, and with that the garage sale stuff will disappear.
Speaking of new stuff, I’m excited to share that we’re not just dropping a few more “heady tees” and “niche hats” this time around. We’re also teaming up with Beast Hot Sauce and Northbound Coffee Roasters for two special “culinary collaborations.”
I know I’m pitching to the same group of 4,000 of you over and over, and I don’t expect (or want!) you to collect every single t-shirt we release. My hope is that some tasty, useful goods from cool small businesses offer another fun way to support the zine—while keeping your t-shirt drawer from doing its best impression of Mount St. Helens in 1980.
For those of you not in the shopping mood, fret not! I have free offerings for you, too, in the form of what one might call “ear snacks.”
I’ve partnered with the inimitable love.andsound to make playlists for zine subscribers. You can listen to Ryan’s Train Songz Exclusive playlists here.
Make sure you access that link via mobile, because nugs is averse to “having modern technology,” and you can only access shared playlists for the first time via mobile, but once you save it from your phone, it’ll appear under your saved playlists on nugs.
Nugs, if you’re reading this, I’d love if you used my $150 a year to improve playlist sharing. I would also love if you sponsored the zine, because I believe the Venn diagram of our readers and your potential customers is a circle. And if you get more customers, the maybe we can fund improved playlist sharing…
Speaking of which, I am looking for artists and sponsors for July’s issue #7. If either of those might be you, please reach out.
May your tragedies be narrowly averted,
The Conductor
