πŸš‚ FALSE START β€” ZINE MONDAY

2026-04-25

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: we need more time to get the new issue out. Nothing major, just need a bit more time to prep the website to make it actually available to purchase and such.

I am going to spend my weekend reading this issue β€” all 56 pages! β€” because it’s been in the works for so long and I need to refresh my spirits.

Speaking of refreshing my sprits, three of us visited Relix HQ in New York City yesterday. The start of 2026 has not been the most spiritually Train Songz time of my life, as I’m in the middle of a job where I sorta need to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s social media, I’m not saving the world, but it’s way too often than I’d like to personally be responsible to work for someone else. So it goes.

I want Train Songz to be successful, and for that I need room to stretch my legs and move about the cabin. I have not had that opportunity. I lost my job last April, which was such a bummer because it was the perfect stable gig to balance Train Songz with, and I’ve been way over-rotated towards work for about a year now. Yeesh!

This is all to say, visiting Relix and seeing a bunch of heady posters on the wall and Grateful Dead signed guitars and boxes and boxes of old issues was a nice roundhouse kick in the face of good vibrations and why I love what we do at Train Songz so much. That part of me has been locked away in a Macbook Pro for a little too long. When I’m on the other end of this, which is done in early June, I’m promising myself I will carve out real time for Train Songz because I believe there’s a niche future here. Thank you all for making that possible.

Anyway, to prep for Monday, please:

Thank you for party rocking,

The Conductor
