🚂 zine delay !!!
Hello there!
The second zine is delayed in leaving the station, and I'm going to send it on next Monday the 25th.
I wanted to send it tomorrow, but I totally underestimated the amount of time I needed to assemble everything: I fear I may have "girl-bossed a little too close to the sun" by thinking I could make 1050 zines (plus a few hundred first editions for those who asked for it) over the course of a single weekend...
I worked about 8 hours, and I was able to finish 509. Because I "have a job," I need to prioritize that during the week. I'll knock out about 100 zines each night, and I'll finish everything over the weekend so I can get them all to the Post Office next Monday morning.
This edition has just about double the subscribers as the first one, and I'm appreciative of each and every one of you for signing up -- especially those of you who donated toward the cause and made this whole thing possible.
It's quite a process: gotta guillotine the pages, fold the pages, staple the pages, stamp and number the cover, stuff envelopes with zine and stickers, seal and post the envelopes.
SOLUTION: I just gotta dig a little deeper...
Thanks again for your patience. I'm learning -- very much faking it until I make it -- as I go, learning how to best operate this thing. I'm very excited for you to get it, and you'll hear from me next that it's gone out!

P.S. I'm sending this email to all of my subscribers from both the first and second editions. If you think you signed up...you probably signed up! Most of you got both editions, which rocks. If you're not sure if you're on the list, email me back and I'm happy to check for you. If you haven't signed up yet, email me back and we'll get you on the list.
P.P.S. For the third edition, I might need professional help to speed things up, because I don't want to have to limit subscriptions...let me know if you know the printing industry and what's possible in speeding up making a stapled booklet that can fit in an envelope!
