Hello there!

The zine is nothing without the community, and for that reason I’d like to offer you the following ways to get involved with the next zine:

1. Fill out this quick survey about favorite shows and songs last tour, shows you attended, and more! I will print the results and make playlists of the songs, so the more people who respond, the better the final product! FILL IT OUT BY FRIDAY!

2. Send me scanned tour- or train-related ephemera and photo for consideration to be printed in the zine! Please email submissions to conductor@trainsongz.net with the subject “zine submission,” not as a direct reply to this email but as a new email.

   Please note: We will not print images of the band or anything branded as “Billy Strings,” like a scanned one of the stickers they sell at merch. We choose to “only break one law at a time” around these parts, and copyright law ain’t one of them. The zine is sold for money, and for that reason we don’t have rights to profit off the name, image, or likeness Billy or his band members without their permission. (“That’s not very punk rock of you, Mr. Songz…”)

3. Sponsor the zine! Only two (of 10) slots remain to sponsor the next zine. We’re both adding pages to the zine and reducing the total number of sponsorships, to keep them meaningful and add more content to the zine. If you have a small business that would be a good fit for the Train Songz audience, please reach out to conductor@trainsongz.net!

📆 Aaaaand while I have you: the next zine is out January 10. Mark your calendars!

On January 10, you’ll have the choice to:

• Subscribe for all of 2025

  • This will be $44 minimum, or $10/zine plus $1/shipping for a year of four quarterly Train Songz zines delivered hot and fresh to wherever you receive physical mail after Billy Strings tour.

  • This up-front commitment represents a higher level of support per zine, but you don’t have to remember to order each time and you’re helping me grow the zine with guaranteed money for the year, with the confidence you’ll be around for all four and I can allocate that money accordingly.

  • The subscription will have a few additional perks, for your extra support: faster shipping, lower cover number, access to a referral program and referral rewards, and a few more things… Nothing crazy, I don’t want to isolate anyone, but I want to give a few small thank you’s to anyone who is able to provide me the extra help.

I think 93% or so of people gave something last time, from $1 to $250. You’ve earned my trust in supporting me turning this idea into an increasingly complicated reality, and I’m dedicated to giving that trust right back to you.
