Hello TSZ subscribers!!!

First, I wanted to remind you that our merchandise store closes Sunday night. Then production of pre-orders will start up next week!

• The bandanas are 100% cotton and 22 by 22 inches, printed at Pine Print Shop in Fort Collins, CO

• The hats are Ascolour Surf Caps, the green is canvas and the orange is nylon

• The cream and purple shirts are on Gildan Hammer, which fits pretty traditional

• The “Ship of Fools” flip is on Shakawear, which fits boxier and larger

We only sell to subscribers and we only sell 4x per year, in tune with each issue’s release. I’m so serious about #gatekeeping that we’ll be implementing password-protected merchandise next cycle. There are only a few thousand of us in the world, but we’re all going to the same concerts.

I want Train Songz merchandise to be something that’s exciting to spot in the wild where you have a 99% certainty they also enjoy reading the same niche print media as you.

This is not a huge profit center for us. We hire and pay artists to make the designs, we use quality materials I want to personally wear, and we print with our friend Forest City Press in the US. I price things so that we’re making $5–15 per item.

Next I want to ask you to check train_songz Close Friends story on Instagram. Do you see a story on my account with a green circle around it? If not, please reply to this email with your Instagram name and I will add you. I post subscriber-only updates here, and I’m realizing I need to catch up on asking y’all about that. I should probably send an email each time someone new subscribes, asking for as much. Good idea. Learning.
