🚂 Calling all Print Media Dealers
Hello there!!!
Earlier this month I posted the below Instagram story. It got a ton of responses, because you are all amazing, kind, and generous servants of print media.
Because of the key life lessons of Train Songz has been: “if you wanna get something done, make a Google Form.”
So make a Google Form I did:
Fill this out if you’d like to hand out zines at a festival or show this summer!!!
Note 1: We are still dusting off the cobwebs and if your thing is like this weekend we probably won’t be able to swing it, but July or August or later we got you, probably.
Note 2: We might make more Print Media Dealer shirts or hats, like I put in the form, and in my heart I want to give them away for free but I’m not sure we can afford it so let me noodle on it and catch up on this year’s finances. The worst thing we’d do is sell you the hat or shirt at cost.

Until this year, I was on top of organizing zine handouts and a lot of you have dealt zines, mostly at Billy shows. Alas, fans of the show know this year got away from me in a big way thanks to a temporarily insane job. That is now in the past, and I’m making some changes in my schedule to make real time for Train Songz.
I missed doing this, and it feels good to be back. Choo choo, mf.
What else is up?
We went to Telluride
Train Songz is fresh off our first Telluride Bluegrass Festival. I went with Promontory Paul, who — on top of writing for every issue and leading the Old Tune Revue — has over the past two and a half years driven 4+ hours multiple times to spend entire weekends folding zines and stuffing envelopes.

Thank you to Planet Bluegrass and IVPR for inviting us as press to experience the festival and interview bands — and THANK YOU for reading and being part of the last 2.5 years that earned us this opportunity.
After the aforementioned insane job, which took me out of the Train Songz state of mind for the better part of eight months, Telluride was a defibrillator of good vibes, good people, good music — all while sleeping in 40º mountain air.
You’ll hear more about our time at 8700 feet down the line, in print.
Merchandise is closing Friday
Don’t forget if you’re trying to order something! Custy up!
Next issue
We were handing out copies at Telluride. We’re numbering your issue as we speak. We will announce it soon!
